AMERICAS. South American border store retailer Neutral by Luryx Duty Free Shop is the latest leading player to voice its strong support for the Summit of the Americas – A Virtual Experience, which will be held on 5-9 April 2021.

As reported, the all-digital event is being organised by trade associations International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL) in partnership with The Moodie Davitt Report (which organised the successful Virtual Travel Retail Expo from 12-16 October).

Organisers have received strong commitments from travel retailers and airports across the Americas to participate. Speaking about the opportunity (see the video above), Neutral by Luryx Duty Free Shop CEO Marcelo Montico called on the wider industry to support the event. He said: “It will be a great opportunity to review the key business indicators in Latin America, both in airports and border stores. We will invite operators from the borders in Brazil and review perspectives for 2021. Join us from 5-9 April and be part of the virtual Summit of the Americas.”

For exhibitors there are three tiers of virtual packages from which to choose, offering multiple options to display products, deliver brand and product presentations, offer virtual tours of their facilities and showrooms, and connect with buyers.
